The Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour pays out $250,000 USD to the Top10 Men and Top5 Women based on the ranking at the conclusion of the last 6Star event on the tour (in 08/09: the US Open for Men/ the Roxy Chicken Jam for Women). The ranking position is determined by the average of the Top 8* points earning results at events on the 08/09 Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour.
 

The total prize money payout of the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour is above and beyond the $2.5 million USD including event prize money on the Tour and is the largest ever of it's kind in snowboarding. The Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour joins a number of international sporting organizations respecting a reciprocal payout to both top male and female participants down to end of season TTR Top 10/5.
 

The TTR Pro Snowboarding Society, owners and operators of the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour, will declare the recipients of the prize money following the last 6Star event on Tour for men and women respectively.

*Note: 7+1 results: rider's with a season-end points bonus counting only need to accumulate 7 results, but can also substitute this bonus result with a better result from the 0809 season.
