Swatch TTR Movers & Shakers

In the past, the TTR ranking has focused on the Top 5 Men and Top 5 Women of the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour who had been performing well at each and every contest they enter. But what about the up-and-comers?

New for 2008, the Swatch TTR Homepage has introduced a fresh new feature called ‘Movers and Shakers’ to highlight lower level riders who have made the biggest leaps in the TTR rankings. While the big dogs fight for World No. 1, rookie and local riders who dominate 2-Star and 3-star events all over the world are now brought directly to the front page of the TTR Website.

Updates occur on a weekly basis and provide fascinating information on the Top 5 Men and Women who have made the biggest changes. The new feature also provides interested media, team managers, athletes and fans with details such as the rider’s new position on the Swatch TTR World Tour, how many places they moved up, the rider's name and their country of origin.

This allows for getting a quick-and-easy idea of what up-and-coming snowboarders to look out for as the season progresses. It is also another step taken by the TTR that grants the opportunity to follow the rookie-to-pro ranking strategy more closely and to provide media with valuable talking points on an international and local level.

Keep yourself updated on the recent Movers and Shakers by visiting the TTR Homepage on a weekly basis and watch how rookie and local snowboarders make their way up the rankings and reach the international professional level.
