Swatch TTR Top Nations
Want to know what country breeds the best riders? New for 2008, the Swatch TTR Homepage has introduced a new ranking feature called “Top Nations” to add even more depth to the World Snowboard Tour. Many nations are represented on the World Tour by high-profile snowboarders and this new feature highlights what nations currently have the best riders on the Swatch TTR World Tour.
The feature provides many benefits for the media including an interesting look at how a country is doing in terms of pro level development and their riders' performance on the biggest competitive snowboarding tour in the world.
The Top Nations ranking is calculated based on the average of the ranking scores of the Top 5 riders from each nation. The country with the highest average of the top 5 rider´s is given the top position. If a country has less than 5 rider´s on the World Ranking List, the ranking scores of those rider´s are averaged for the total score of the country.
