About the Swatch Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour

The Swatch Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour is a non-profit organization aimed at establishing snowboarding as a major global sport while providing quality competitive experiences for snowboarders.

Through the creation of the TTR World Ranking List and the TTR World Tour, the TTR is the world’s largest collaboration of independent freestyle snowboard events working together to create a global rookie-to-professional tour.  Riders of all abilities compete on the tour, earn points and climb the rankings with the goal of becoming TTR Snowboard World Champion. The world’s most respected snowboard events are a part of the TTR World Snowboard Tour. Currently in the eighth season of operation, there are over 180 events operating under the TTR umbrella with a total cumulative purse of over $2.5-million USD.

The TTR is not a governing body in the world of freestyle snowboarding, but an organization representing the progression of the sport and the interests of the riders. The TTR keeps an open door when it comes to new formats or innovative course setups to foster the creativity that is inherent in the snowboard community. The ultimate goal of the TTR is to create a networking and exchange platform for events, athletes and the snowboard industry to create the highest-quality competitive freestyle snowboard environment in the world. At the same time, the TTR provides a global communication platform and communication services that feature the riders, events and the tour to further expand awareness and understanding of the sport.

Freestyle snowboarding is a very unique sport that is based on creativity, fun, friends and progression. Keeping this unique aspect of snowboarding in mind, the TTR has worked hard to maintain the fun, creative side of the sport inside the competitive freestyle tour.
