With a bunch of sick riders, a jam packed contest schedule and early season signs of an epic winter the Swatch TTR World Tour is set to be one of the best yet!  Behind the scenes we have a crew of riders hailing from all corners of the globe who are going to put in the hours to ensure that this season will be the most banging ever!

Heading up the PR department we have translating superstar Verena, who will be joined by Viola from Finland, who also doubles as a professional bowler in her spare time.  Working alongside the two Vs in PR will be Canadian Rich and Aussie Mark who will be striving to provide the best written material possible, in between embarrassing themselves at the bar of course.   Of course with so many TTR events going down all over the world we need to have a bunch of international connections and that’s where Arnaud and Matt come into the picture, these two will sitting up late at night, ensuring that all events from France and U.S get the coverage they deserve.

This is part 3 of the interviews with the Pro’s from Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam.  Here are some of the highlights of their summers and winters.

nikiThe Swiss youngster Mario Käppeli  has been riding and competing most summer bouncing around the globe. This kid has got a lot of energy saved up for the winter and his agenda is jam packed with events and riding. His Finnish Forum team-mate Niki Korpela (picture on the right) had spent a traditional Finnish summer hidden away in the Finnish forest, skipping between a sauna and the lake. He did get a few months riding in Hintertux with his buddies from the Finnish national team, and is now super motivated for the up and coming winter season. We are waiting with excitement hoping to see some more of his one footed miracle tricks! Read the rest of this entry »

Here’s part 2 of the interviews from Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam. To remind you, this is what we asked our snowy heroes:
1. What did you get up to in the summer?
2. What are your plans this winter?

Ville Uotila (FIN)
1. In the summer I was back home in Finland and did a lot of sports to keep fit, like biking. And to balance it all out I did a lot of partying with my friends. Then I spent 2 months in New Zealand and Australia as well as two weeks in Hintertux this fall. So there was also a lot of riding this summer.

2. I’m not 100% sure about my plans for this winter, I recon I’ll tour a lot of competitions, and for sure do some photoshoots with my sponsors. I’ll probably go to the States at some point for one month and then Canada, but mainly I’m gonna be based in Europe this winter. Read the rest of this entry »
