The same story for Perisher where it’s already possible to get some cheeky powder runs in if you are willing to hike a bit (if your car makes it up there). The Source, Europe’s b2b magazine for surf/snow/skate is organizing the fifth annual snowboard industry forum from the 24-26th of April in Garmisch-Parten­kirchen Germany.

Following on from the success of last years forum which over a hundred industry personnel attended, this years Forum will continue to be the unique plat­form that brings the key players together to discus the European snowboard market and its unique issues.

The opening dinner on Thursday evening and will be followed by two days of seminars and workgroups. Friday night is this years Snowball evening to raise money for environmental causes and includes the presentation of the European Snowboard Industry Awards. Sunday the 26th is an optional riding day.

It is Lime’s pleasure to announce that the young and talented photographer Bara Prasilova who collaborates with “chics’ only mag LIME” was awarded as the 4th photographer of the year 2008 for her fashion photo series for LIME magazine.This Czech Grand Design award is granted for an outstanding feat in photography in the given calendar period.

This nice news came to our office only two weeks after another success of Mrs. Prasilova. Bara became an ambassador of Quiksilver Women three weeks ago and had a chance to shoot and exhibit in London.“I was awarded by Czech Grand Design as second a year before, I am fourth this year. It could look as a step backwards but the possibility of shooting and exhibiting in London gave me a feeling of my career’s progression. Working and exhibiting in London at the same time is like a dream which came true. That was a fairytale!”, said Bara Prasilova.

However, it is pretty hard to edit NO! mainstream girls’ journal in these days and I am happy that LIME, after only four issues, got the international respect as the local interest of the art scene. My big thanks go to publishers Renda Hrones and Petr Nietsch from Free magazine and of course to Bara Prasilova, who gave a lot of energy to shooting for LIME every time.

Thank you everybody that the LIME baby started to breath and runs in the right direction!
