Tuesday the 6th, TTR Crew part 1 rolled into town as one sick unit divided by 2 because we are only part 1 of 2. Davos, Switzerland, the home of the O’Neill Evolution Slopestyle and Quarterpipe TTR event, put on sunshine and great snow conditions as riders tickled their fancy with several training sessions throughout today.evo08 wall STARS ALIGN FOR THE ONEILL EVOLUTION...We arrived late and caught the tail end of slopestyle practice after some meet and greets we walk over to scope the course. Eye spyed my little eye some begging with AA , it was Antti Autti , so I thought I’d get back to my Aussie roots and say G Day and ask him how the f@ck is the setup going. Antti replied with a simple and polite “the slope course has good flow and is really fun to ride”I looked to the right and saw a whale of a woman who seemed to be stuck on a her sun recliner. postheadericon Burton NZ Open updated – halfpipe prequals with Benny B

slopestyle overview Burton NZ openWhilst the pipe was being blazed by the prequalifiers, the slope course was tested out for the first time. The course consists of a 3-option stair set to start with into a tall rail or giant water tank jib. Then you lock yourself in for the first 50ft kicker , into a 65ft kicker, the flow continues into a 2 options either a flat down or down round bar and finally finishing with a fs or bs wall ride option. I was cruzing in a fully sick Subura GT-B turbo..with fat as exhaust with Chas G and just as were are leaving the outskirts of beautiful Wanaka..we see current Swatch TTR women’s world tour champion..Jamie Anderson with her thumb out. USO posterAfter 10 months and 25 countries the swatch TTR world tour has landed in Stratton, Vermont for the final Stop on the mens 07/08 calender. Blue skies were out for the first day of halfpipe practice. Riders were checking things out and getting to know the transition that layed ahead.The Open which draws over 40,000 fans, big name sponsors and international media, is free of charge to spectators. I slapped myself silly 10 times over , before I realized I was awake and was glaring at what seemed to be the most dreamy quarter pipe setup that anyone could imagine.

Looking over the Oslo township and beautiful harbour the Holmenkollen Arena has an all new inspiring view, it’s called the Oakley Arctic Challenge. 10.2 metres of pure transition perfection. The SIX(6) STAR Swatch TTR event is shaping up to be a highlight on the tour once again.

After 16 days of construction, we caught up with the man in charge Claes Högström as he nears completion of the quarter pipe where we may just see that magic 10m mark broken if not smashed out of the ball park.

KP vs Drew

Riders from all over the world flew straight into a glassed cage of emotion. The Billabong Air & Style riders were requesting guided TTR office tours, and at 3:20 pm the idea of a major office refurb was born. Drew Stevenson knew exactly what to do. He got into the Method Mag storage facility, wheeled out a portable ping pong table and pushed it for at least 2km through congested mid-day Austrian traffic. Check the video teaser below, with more to come soon :) … nothing more to be said but that it was so F@#%&ING FUNNY.
