Colin Frei Portrait

Swiss rider Colin Frei has had an amazing season of shredding and has certainly established himself as one of the best Quarterpipe riders in the business. He ended his 07/08 TTR season in 50th by competing in only 5 and 6 star events and earned a reputation to go big. Really big. We’re talking over 8 m. Jamie Anderson’s TTR championship party tonight in Mammoth Lakes

April 1st, 2008 by Andy

Jamie Anderson's TTR party

After winning the slopestyle today at the Chicken Jam, Jamie claimed enough points to win the 07/08 TTR Championship. Rockstar is not only officially sponsoring the event, but is so stoked about her result, that the guys decided to sponsor Jamie’s unofficial TTR afterparty. I have the slight feeling it would have taken place anyways to wrap up a long season and fun event, but with that much to celebrate you better get your fake IDs out, your partypants on and swing your ass down to the Whiskey Creek in the center of Mammoth (if you bring your credentials you might even enjoy a couple of free drinks - don’t ask for Vodka Red Bull though…)

And by the way - if you happen to have unpurposely taken the 5th place TTR check, that does not only mean bad karma…Cheryl Maas will come to haunt you for those $9.000 Terje dollars.

Be there or be square…

Hello everybody this is Gian Simmen checking in from the Swatch TTR 4 star event in Crans Montana.

They have a pretty sweet set up here. At first you have a big jump, then a hip followed by a jib box. Just after that you have to hit the pipe, where you can do about 4 hits. It’s pretty fun to ride and the contest is well organized. The weather is good and everyone is enjoying them self.

Time for Burton European Open again! Its always fun to come back to Laax where I had my first ever big contest in 2000. Wow, its already 8 years ago!

I was surprised when I saw all the snow on the trees on my way up to Laax. Last year it was just green fields all over the place…. Hope this season will be whiter then last year ☺
