slopestyle overview Burton NZ openWhilst the pipe was being blazed by the prequalifiers, the slope course was tested out for the first time. The course consists of a 3-option stair set to start with into a tall rail or giant water tank jib. Then you lock yourself in for the first 50ft kicker , into a 65ft kicker, the flow continues into a 2 options either a flat down or down round bar and finally finishing with a fs or bs wall ride option. Subarus, World Champions and a brand new Snowpark

Today..the first day of snowparks halfpipe… the day before practice so i guess today was practice’s practice. I was cruzing in a fully sick Subura GT-B turbo..with fat as exhaust with Chas G and just as were are leaving the outskirts of beautiful Wanaka..we see current Swatch TTR women’s world tour champion..Jamie Anderson with her thumb out. Burton European Open Men’s SS qualifications while the big dogs train the pipe

Today the skies opened up after 2 & 1/2 ft of snow dumped on Laax over the past 24 hours. The junior competitions in slopestyle and halfpipe went down on Friday and Saturday, and today we saw the qualifying runs for the up-and-comers, and the big-dogs heating things up in some training sessions.
