The showdown at the end of the season will traditionally take place at the Shuttleberg in Flachauwinkl! – Already for the fifth time the Spring Battle will be in the Absolut Park. This year the invited and qualified riders can collect some extra TTR points beside the € 6,000 prize money. Everyone who was already can approve it: Even the audience gets its money worth at the Absolut Park Spring Battle. Spring temperatures provide for a good mood on the mountain and international live acts will assure a relaxed Spring Break atmosphere at the party afterwards!

 

Beside the massive Spring Battle Kicker, the shapers of the Absolut Park with supervision from Ex Pro Max Rehrl and Seppi Harml will build a Surprise Obstacle like in the last years. The audience and riders still remember last years „Bowl to Wallride“ or the Slide Box over the Park Container in 2005.

This year one has to qualify via „Friends Events“ like the Ästhetiker Shred Down in Westendorf, the final of the Snow Park Tour or the Absolut Park Event „Pop ’n’ Drop“ (February 16-17). There will be no open „Amateurs Quali“ before the event. But a lot of international pros will be present and we are all curious about who is going to win the rodeo at the Shuttleberg after Mone Monsberger, Marco Grilc, Stefan Gruber and Martin Sandberg. Already confirmed are Riders such as last years winner Martin Sandberg, Danny Larsen, Alexi Vaninnen, Lars Oesterle, Wolle Beer, Gummi Rietmann, Robby Furger, Mone Monsberger and others.

More riding expected in the evening at the legendary Spring Break: Main act will be the Roots Rockers Sound System.

The first Spring Battle took place in 2003 and was won by Mone Monsberger. In 2004 Marco Grilc became man of the mountain followed by Steve Gruber 2005. The first rider who scored TTR ranking points was Martin Sandberg in 2006.

The crowd witnessing the event is growing from year to year, with approx. 500 people 2006. The set up is always one of the most creative and progressive setups of the season, and the riders are stoked every time. The 2007 Spring Battle willl be the 5th year the event has taken place planned to be continued for several more years.

On 31st of March the invited riders meet the guys from the qualification events: Pop ‘n’ Drop Snowparktour in Flachauwinkl, Snowparktour Finals, Run to the Hills in Obertauern and one more contest.
