Event History
The first Malmi&Oksanen Invitational event was held few days before Christmas 2001 in Talma, half an hour North of Helsinki. It was freezing cold (-25 C), but to everyone's surprise all the invited riders actually showed up. First year there was no media present; the idea was just to have fun, ride with the homeboys before everyone left abroad on the typical Finnish winter migration for contests or filming commitments.
