Event History

8 years ago we started as the first East and Central European Big Air contest with participation of international pro riders. Every year our event improved; many professional snowboarders from around the globe came over for awesome riding and party's. It pushed the level of the Czech and Eastern snowboard scene and introduced our sport on the highest level to the public.

2006 we launched the first Snowjam as first TTR event ever in Eastern Europe. Building a nice double line and connecting snowboarding with a music festival had brought success. A huge crowd enjoyed watching top-level riding and famous national bands and DJ's.

In 2008 was the 2nd edition of Quiksilver Snowjam as part of the TTR Tour. Thanks to pro snowboarder Martin Cernik and Czech core-mag “Free Magazine”, the ski resort Pec pod Snezkou could hold the biggest and most important snowboard Czech competition of the 07/08 season. The Quiksilver Snowjam 08 brought together world class riders as well as top Czech, Slovak and Polish freestylers. Our event was also the official final competition of “O2 Snowboard Tour” – czech national snowboarding championships. It was also the first snowboard event ever broadcasted one hour live on Czech National TV. A music-stage on snow and a huge party tent hosted four famous bands and 5 DJ's and entertained 5000 spectators over the weekend.

Event Info

This year the Quiksilver Snowjam moved to the biggest Czech winter resort “Spindleruv Mlyn” whose infrastructure, reputation and location is giving us the chance to take the Quiksilver Snowjam to the next level, and create an extraordinary Slopestyle course. It will start with a Halfpipe section, followed by Jib obstacles, finishing with a 20m kicker; all covered with 10 cameras with live edit. Semifinals and finals will be held at night followed by a live concert on snow and a huge party with 4 bands and 6 DJ's.

Don’t miss the Quiksilver Snowjam 09! Snowboarding mixed with music; guys with girls and Red Bull with Vodka... so don't hesitate and come over to enjoy this unique experience.
