Event History
Pleasure Jam was an spontaneous idea of a motivated crew of snowboarders (actually working to push Dachstein glacier in the position it belongs to - the most relevant freestyle-destination of the eastern alps in summer and autumn!) in October of 2003. Five years later the Pleasure Jam is not only the biggest association independent snowboard event of Austria, it became an institution for the whole European scene!
Pleasure Jam is what snowboarders mean when they talk about a season-opener that fits to the lifestyle, preferences and intentions of thousands of enthusiastic shredders coming together from the whole continent!
Probably that’s the reason why more than 22,000 snowboarding, partying, representing, flirting, laughing and communicating people made this event what it is now – one of the straightest and most unique events snowboarding ever had!
The Pleasure Jam is an ideal platform for an emotional communication of your brand in an authentic and sympathetic surrounding!
Together with the presence at the event and the huge media-output your brand experiences a strong and deep impression in your target group! We guarantee our partners and sponsors brand exclusiveness and high-end performance and quality for a maximum of image-transfer for your brand!
UNIQUE?
There is already a big number of rider-related and scene-conform snowboard events happening every year, each with a unique concept and name. So what is the difference?
Next to all the big names of European snowboarding and an unbelievable trans-European media presence, what makes the Pleasure Jam so special? It’s the number of guests (“active audience”) that find their way up on the mountain to visit the event and not only the parties. 2006, with a little help of the weather of course, an unbelievable number of almost 2.000 people jumped, jibbed, cruised and laughed into their winter season on the Pleasure Jam!
Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam 2007: An unbelievable heavy beginning to winter at the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam made the traditional Dachstein-Opening impossible. Still, all the Snowboarders, media and industry representatives and the professional riders from all over Europe that travelled to Schladming that weekend had an unforgettable time between powder-snow and parties!
The main reason for this popularity is the date of the event. Beginning of November is the time of year when every Snowboarder is super-motivated to do the first sessions of the year and is disposed to do a long journey for it!
