Rockin’ Bands. Amazing Riders. One colossal Quarterpipe.
Last season, the Air & Style 08 returned to the Bergisel Stadium in Innsbruck Austria to beat every one's expectations. Over 12.000 spectators made the Billabong Air & Style 08 Quarter Pipe Innsbruck-Tirol an unforgettable evening in snowboard history. Kevin Pearce became hero of the night with his second Air & Style victory in one season. Jack Mitrani pushed himself to an unbelievable height of 8,70 meters and to the victory of the “Swatch highest air”. And the performances of The Queens of the Stone Age and Dynamite Deluxe perfectly rounded up the atmosphere.
It was a triumphal return to the roots of the event after its absence of over eight years. And the course is set for an even bigger Billabong Air & Style Innsbruck-Tirol 09 on the 31st of January. With the announcement of its 6Star level on teh Swatch TTR World Tour, the claims are even higher. The setup will even be improved and the TTR ranking points increased.
Everybody is looking forward to the end of January and to one of the biggest snowboard parties of the world with performances of Mando Diao and Deichkind.
