Sick Trick Tour was created in Spring 2003 by Gottfried Haberl, Florian Hasenauer and Max Schirmeisen. The goal was to recognize trends and set new ones, variation in building event areas, consistent change of event formats and the development of a strong rookie core in the Austrian and German Alps. Sick Trick Tour was a pioneer of Team Events, which were fun for riders and spectators. To give riders a chance to collect TTR points and qualify for the Austrian Masters sick trick tour decided to judge riders individually, but kept innovating new formats to please the crowd such as “The Enoka Gamble” where riders had to pick one of 12 over dimensional poker cards. Each poker card had a different trick written on it which two riders had to execute to the best of their abilities. The one with the most steeze moved to the next round. The further the comp went the harder the tricks got. Sick Trick Tour not only organizes winter sport events but also enjoys creating cool parties, art exhibitions, poker tournaments, national and international video premieres, beneficial actions and much more. One of their latest projects is the “pirates movie premiere ”Jolly Roger” which includes a huge Band and DJ line up and a never seen before Railbattle. Sick TrickTour will built a ramp 6m high and 6m wide and 20m long, where the riders take off is located in a window of a 1st floor restaurant above the ice hockey venue of Kitzbühel. The landing area will be on its parking lot. Another project will be the “World day of Snowboarding” which was a very successful “Snowpark Opener” and “Start of the Season” party getting everyone ready for the winter. Thanks to the WSF and its members for pushing such a cool idea.
