On March 10, 2012, Nokia Lumia will be bringing you the largest snowboarding event of the year – the Quiksilver New Star: the best slopestyle course, the most stylish and powerful tricks, Russian and European riders of the highest caliber, as well as the 4-star rating in the Ticket to Ride World Tour. Save for the extensive sports-based programme, all the visitors will be treated to an unforgettable live concert by a music band with an international reputation. Yes, all of this is the Quiksilver New Star 2012, to will be held on the central slope of the Igora Resort (Saint-Petersburg).

On March 10, 2012, Quiksilver New Star is back! Nokia Lumia will be bringing you the largest snowboarding event of the year -- the Quiksilver New Star: the best slopestyle course, the most stylish and powerful tricks, Russian and European riders of the highest caliber, as well as the 4-star rating in the TTR World Tour.The Quiksilver New Star today is the largest freestyle TTR event in Eastern Europe. The Igora Resort has allocated one of its central slopes (slope #4) to the event's creative and intricate course -- it is not only a perfect base for jumps and obstacles, but it also provides an optimal view of all the action for the spectators.The prize purse of the event comprises $15,000 this year; the list of the participating riders includes some of the best Russian and European talent out there, whose performances are bound to blow your mind.
