Event History

Over the 9th and 10th of December, the seventh edition of Nissan X-Trail Jam will explode in the heart of Tokyo. Again the Nissan X-Trail will fill Japan's biggest indoor Sport's Stadium, the Tokyo Dome, downtown Tokyo. A very progressive sports Event for the new generation, the Nissan X-Trail Jam is about as close to an X-Box game in real life as you are ever going to get!. Produced by Nippon TV (national TV in Japan), Sponsored by Nissan , Coordinated by Reto Lamm, the Nissan X -trail Jam is a proud partner of TTR. Ten of the sickest international riders and 6 Japanese riders will battle over 150,000 USD in prizemoney and two nissan X-trail cars. The organisation expects about 75,000 spectators again to pack the rafters for this years event. The event is split up in two days. Saturday, Quarterpipe Jamsession Sunday Big Air Jam session.

 

X-trail jam is a rider focused but highly performance oriented event. A structured Jam session format makes this event very exciting sportively, and fun to watch. While the riders use the rope tow on the side of the ramp to get to the top of the 38 meter ramp , their points are displayed on 4 huge LED screens. The Choice of riders varies from newcomers such as Risto Mattila and Annti Autti to previous winners like Nicolas Mueller and Andi Dinch, to Legends like Terje Haakonsen.

 

For the second time this season we will have for the first time a LED Kicker and a full LED starting gate, to give this event a very high standard from riding to infrustructure to production.

 

The second 6(six) Star event of the 06/07 TTR World Snowboard Tour, the Nissan X-Trail Jam is all but certainly going to see the Tour Race heat up, with a new leader possible or a significant lead established...
