The ‘Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour,’ or simply ‘The TTR,’ is offering 6 month internships for talented and motivated individuals in Innsbruck/Austria intended to provide you with a true learning and exciting team experience.
Are you doing your studies in any of the following fields: Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Event Management, Sport Sponsoring, Multimedia Design? Are you interested to work in a young and creative team, facing challenges and providing solutions?
Apply now, experience the snowboard scene from the inside and support some of the world`s biggest and most renown snowboard events. High fluency in english, working experience in related fields are required, a general interest in snowboarding and additional language skills are desirable.

At the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour, interns are a crucial part of our workforce. You’re given responsibility, real projects, and a chance to leave your mark. What can I expect to do at TTR during my internship?
You'll be given real work with actual problems to solve. As an intern, you'll be charged with enabling our team to deliver world-class communication, quality database-maintenance and unique content on schedule.
If I'm not a major in the field I apply for, can I still intern?
We don't require that you be a computer science/ video production/ graphic design/ communications/ marketing/ journalism major in order to be an intern. We're interested in individuals who have demonstrated their skills, a passion for snowboarding and have a desire to solve problems.
Are there any additional benefits or am I just working my balls off like in any other company?
Of course, all internships come with competitive pay. Plus, here’s some other extras our interns receive:

INTERNSHIP - ONLINE MARKETING
The work will involve all aspects of implementing TTR’s online communication and marketing strategies within the world wide web and on www.ttrworldtour.com including updating written and audio-visual content, working with photoshop, keeping the TTR community profiles alive, producing new ideas and realizing them in close contact with the Public Relations and TV departments. It is a great way to create online marketing impact for a considerable audience on a state-of-the-art level, bring in yourself with own ideas and having backstage access to the world of snowboarding.
Candidates should have basic experience in Online Communications and Marketing and preferably be studying for a degree in a related subject.
Key skills we seek are:
- web community knowledge (myspace, facebook, youtube)
- Adobe Photoshop and graphic production skills
- standard office programs
- very basic knowledge in HTML/XML/CSS
- fluent in English with excellent communication skills
In addition the following are desirable but not required:
- experience in search engine optimization
- web content management skills
- other language skills
The internship starts latest in November and lasts during the whole winter season until the end of April. Although you will be working hard, some good powder runs on the mountains around Innsbruck and the attendance of a few TTR events on the tour are assured.

Career Opportunity: The Swatch Ticket To Ride World Snowboard Tour
is looking for a General Manager in the Operational Office in Innsbruck
General Summary of Responsibilities:
The General Manager oversees the day to day management and strategic planning of the TTR organization, including:
General Administration
Oversee day to day operations, office staff as well as regional coordinators, various meetings and the General Assembly, create general operating policies, Work with the Board of Directors
Sponsorship/Fundraising
Work closely with the Sponsorship Department in terms of strategy, development, execution of agreements, develop and execute new partnerships within the boardsport-industry.
Marketing/Branding
Source and execute strategic marketing opportunities, ad campaign, oversee branding agreement with events.
Public Relations and Communications
Increase awareness, creating and strengthening relationships with endemic and mainstream media, create short and long term communication policies/plans, oversee PR crew in the creation and dissemination of all communications.
Budget and Financial Planning
Oversee the creation, implementation and reconciliation of the annual budget, all bookkeeping matters, cash flow; ensure compliance with all tax laws and statutes, manage and oversee invoicing and payments.
Tour Operations
Oversee event application process, agreements, the event compliance, protocols, master event schedule.
Ranking management
Oversee the development, implementation and management.
Brand and Event Membership
Oversee agreement negotiation and execution process for events and brand members, determine brand and event benefits, oversee event and brand accounts payable/accounts receivable.
Risk Management
Make sure the TTR is not putting itself in a position of liability or unnecessary risk, ensure compliance with verein status and/or any other applicable laws or statutes, in cooperation with the TTR lawyer.
New Media/Television
Oversee and improve the creation of the bundled TV product, develop new programming ideas for linear, web, or other platforms, oversee website development, work with events in terms of rights to share for a common product.
Business Development
Forge strategic alliances with other organizations, people, media, .. that will help move the TTR towards future goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5-7 years experience in sports, entertainment and/or event sales, excellent leadership skills, goal oriented, highly motivated, excellent written & verbal communication skills, German language is a plus, strong presentation and persuasive skills, available to work an extended schedule, including weekends, early mornings, evenings and holidays according to demands of the role and tasks, ability to manage and direct multiple on-going projects at the same time, ability to manage and direct teams of people with specific end goals, ability to establish priorities and communicate those to the team, ability to look at the organization and its regional components on a global scale and see the big picture.
