Munich, Germany: The excitement was hard to contain at 11:30 am this morning as the match-ups for the Swatch TTR SIX(6)STAR Nokia Air & Style on Saturday night were announced. The top 8 riders according to their results from last season’s event are brought back to compete. A random draw determined the challenging 9th to 16th positioned riders who will go head-to-head with the top 8 for Saturday night. Matched riders will battle through two rounds of a knock-out competition, before a four man Super Final determines The Nokia Air & Style 07 Title winner. This year’s line up also promises a ‘battle of friends’ as almost each match up features friends or fellow team riders competing against each other for the title, such as Kevin Pearce (USA) against Danny Davis (USA) and Torstein Horgmo (NOR) against Chas Guldemond (USA). The final match up announced also brought together last season’s Main Event winner Travis Rice (USA) against last season’s Rookie Challenge Winner Mikkel Bang (NOR). Riders will have to throw down their best tricks to bring the Nokia Air & Style Title home, promising a night of intense drama and stylish action.
