The young and confident Swiss rider, Sina Candrian, has been impressing judges and fans in the last couple years, climbing her way up the TTR Tour Rankings. A strong rider in the Park and Half Pipe, Sina is turning heads as she pushes contest riding and progression.

In Season 2007/2008 she placed well in major 6Star global competitions including both Roxy Chicken Jams in Europe and the States, the Burton European Open, The O’Neill Evolution and the Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships. She finished the season up in World No.6, then strapped back in as soon as possible, heading down under for 2008/09.

In New Zealand she posted some consistent results which her helped her kick start her season, but it wasn’t until the 6Star Burton European Open, in her home mountain of Laax, Switzerland, where she really turned it on.  You could see the determination in her eyes as she dropped into the Slopestyle course on that fateful day.  The shapers, crowd and her friends were all cheering for her and she went on to take out second position and fly up in Swatch TTR ranking.

Candrian certainly has the style and skills to be the first Swiss competitor to take out a Swatch TTR Title.  If she continues to progress like she has, it won’t be long before she is raising the Title high above her head, bringing it home for the Swiss.
