Arthur Longo has the heart of a true snowboarder. With a pure love for the sport and a drive to progress and succeed, he has already seen this season the rewards for his hard work with multiple weeks in the TTR Top 20 and some impressive contest results. Recently finishing his school, the young super talent from Les 2 Alpes, France, with a strong background in riding with good coaching, has turned his attention to his snowboard career with clear cut goals. 05/06 TTR Tour Champion Mathiue Crepel, Julien Haricto alongside other members of the Psykopit Crew have been pushing him to rider harder and better and become one of the best European riders around.

His 06/07 TTR season began after new year in Davos, Switzerland where he raised eyebrows, battling Terje for Highest Air in the Quarterpipe at the 6-Star O'Neill Evolution. He ended up in 6th position but came out confident enough to blast out with an enormous 7.5m Backside Air at the 5-Star O'Neill Pro Freestyle three weeks later, ultimately earning that contest Title. Together with his other results and a second place at the 4-Star Billabong World Junior Pro he finished World No. 12 at the end of the 06/07 TTR Tour.

With his astounding performance last year, Apocalypse Snowboards and Electric placed Arthur on their snow teams to boost his presence and help him achieve even better results. Longo’s 07/08 season has been great with over 10 posted TTR results and 3 Top 10 finishes. Highlights include his 8th place in the Quarterpipe at the 6-Star O’Neill Evolution 08 and a 5th at the 5-Star Billabong Air & Style Quarterpipe in Innsbruck after stomping some of the biggest BS Airs of the night.

Longo, however, made headlines in early February after his Title Victory at the 3-Star MC Invitational in France. In one of the most unique formats and approaches to freestyle competition, Arthur was the only snowboarder to even attempt, and land, a double back flip – a trick he stomped on his last run of the finals, resulting in his first place. His most recent accomplishment was a 2nd at the Red Bull Gap session after wowing the juges and crowds with the smoothes switch BS 9 of the night.

Although a heavy competitor, Longo still knows how to enjoy snowboarding. With influences such as Andreas Wiig, Eero Ettala and Travis Parker – he knows how “to rider just for fun and rock ‘n’ roll.” He’s even known to laugh all the time while riding. Longo has set his sights on attaining a part in a Mack Dawg film, competition and winning in the Olympics and ultimately becoming a TTR Title Champion. Arthur’s advice for other up-and-coming riders? “Take it easy, always be happy on your board, and take care of mother nature.”
