What is your favourite place to ride and why?
Kirkerudbakken. Thats where I grew up, and have a lot of good memories from.

What age did you start snowboarding? 
8 years old.

What snowboarders do you most look up to? 
Mikkel Bang, Aleksander Østereng and Eero Ettala.

What do you focus on most - slopestyle? Pipe? Big Air? and why? Slopestyle, It is most fun.

What is your most memorable snowboarding experience?
Probably the first time I dropped into the Arctic Challenge Quarterpipe, when I was 13 years old.

Your on the road a lot throughout the season - what is your favourite place to visit and why?
My favourite place right now would probably be Bali.

What does a normal day consist of for you when your not snowboarding?
Oh, that's different all the time. But i'll eat, sleep and then just do whatever comes up that day. Train, skate, hang out and all kinds of things.

How has TTR affected your snowboarding career?
It is the contest tour of snowboarding and It have helped me getting out in the world.

Best Of TTR Overall Champions 11/12 - Stale Sandbech and Cilka Sadar

The TTR Overall World Tour Champion titles were a tough reach for many riders who focus on one discipline, but Stale and Cilka Sadar are consistent in both pipe and slopestyle which is a growing rarity in snowboarding these days. Cilka registered 14 TTR results throughout the season with almost a perfect balance of entries in halfpipe an slopestyle disciplines making her one of the most versatile women snowboarders in the world today.Stale Sanbech (NOR) also registered 14 TTR results throughout the season across slopestyle, halfpipe and big air disciplines. Although he wasn't able to get a top spot in halfpipe, Stale took podium spots in slopestyle at the Burton New Zealand Open and in big air at the Air & Style Beijing. When asked how he feels about winning the TTR Overall title, Stale said, "I wasn't really going for it at the start of the season, but then I was leading and thought 'wow', maybe i can actually do this! Now at the end, it was exciting. 'It is really cool to be part of that legendary list of riders who won it before."

TTR Burton US Open Halfpipe and TTR Tour Finale 2012 - White, Clark, Sadar, Iouri, Sandbech

The last contest of the season, the 6Star Burton US Open Halfpipe event, came to a dramatic conclusion, with 4 new TTR World Tour champions crowned.A huge crowed turned up to see who would win the TTR Halfpipe Tour trophies as well as the prestigious TTR Overall World Tour titles.After dominating all season Kelly Clark had the fully support of her fans behind her as she dropped in and scored a 83.56 straight out of the gate.Elana Hight surprised everyone knocking Kelly Clark into second place with a great second runKelly tried to answer in her third run, but had to be happy with second place which was still enough to secure the TTR Halfpipe World Tour title.The Mens competition got off to an explosive Start with Shaun White throwing a 90.44 in the first run.Only the americans were able to keep up with Shauns red hot performance. Benji Farrow landed a great final run to take home 3rd place while Louie Vito gave everything he had, scoring just 1 point less than shaun and taking 2nd on the day.After an amazingly consistent season and a strong result at the US Open, Iouri Podladtchikov became the TTR Halfpipe World Tour Champion.The renowned TTR Overall Tour Champion Trophy celebrates all-round performance and consistence over a year long season. Going into the US Open Cilka Sadar had already secured her title, but the mens trophy was still up for grabs. The three favourites in the running were Stale Sandbech, Janne Korpi and Christian Haller. Janne need a top 5 finish in half pipe to beat stale. As he dropped in for last run he knew he had to make it count. He didn't make it. Now only Christian Haller had the chance to take the title with a second place finishWith Christian ending up in fourth place, Stale sandbech became the TTR Overall World Tour Champion.

TTR Burton US Open 2012 - Check the Course with Chas, Stale, Spencer and Seb

The TTR World Snowboard Tour draws to a close with a big finale at the 6Star Burton US Open 2012. Celebrating its 10th anniversary the TTR World Snowboard Tour finale crowns slopestyle, halfpipe and overall champions. We interview a few of the riders with a chance, such as Chas Guldemond, Stale Sandbech and Spencer O'Brien. We also have a ride through the course O'Neill team rider Sebastien Toutant.

TTR Oakley Shaun White Air & Style Beijing 2011 - Wrap Up

Ulrik Badertscher (NOR) won the Oakley Shaun White Air & Style Beijing competition in the Olympic Bird's Nest stadium tonight, followed by 2 Norwegian wingmen Torstein Horgmo and Stale Sandbech. Ulrik received the coveted Air & Style Ring of Glory and 1,000 TTR World Ranking points.Ulrik's winning run was a very clean backside rodeo 1260, which was also awarded Red Bull's Best Trick. Torstein Horgmo commented: 'Norway did OK today. There is no secret to it, we just all got juiced and we just follow some bad ass dudes, we just try to keep up.'Favorites Sebastien Toutant (CAN) and Seppe Smits (BEL) both failed to reach the podium like last year. Seppe had the best results in the first round, but didn't manage to land his three attempts in the second round. Seb's cab 1260 double cork wasn't good enough to beat Ulrik's smooth double backside rodeo 12 Indy Grab, which gave him the highest score of the second round.

TTR Burton New Zealand Open 2011 - Slopestyle Wrap Up

Canadian rider, Mark McMorris, and American, Jamie Anderson, took the first 5Star Slopestyle titles of the 2011/12 TTR World Tour season at the 2011 Burton New Zealand Open. The slopestyle finals went down at Cardrona Alpine Resort with optimal weather conditions making for some great riding.  All riders who competed in slopestyle at the New Zealand Open have all earned ranking points towards both the TTR Slopestyle Tour Rankings and the TTR Overall Tour Ranking lists.The competition was run using a best-of-three-run format with women and men alternating on each run.  The women took to the course first and it was an immediate battle between two-time TTR World Tour Champion, Jamie Anderson, and Norwegian competition queen, Kjersti Buaas. Jamie held the lead all day and won with a run that included a switch backside 180 tailtap, a front blunt to fakie and a half Cab 5-0 to backside 180 on the jib section and a switch backside 540, frontside 360 and a backside 540 on the jump line. Kjersti came in a close second and Jordie Karlinski (USA) took home third place. The men took the last run of the day and Mark McMorris won the title with a run that consisted of a full Cab stall, Cab 270 frontboard to fakie and a half Cab to backside 360 in the jib section and a backside double cork 1080, frontside 900 and ended with a Cab 1260 on the jump line. Fellow Canadian, Sebastien Toutant, was right behind Mark in second place and Norwegian up-and-comer, Stale Sandbech rounded out the podium in third.

Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour: Style in Snowboarding

"Style in Snowboarding" is the first video segment from a collection cut out of the 2009/2010 Swatch TTR TV Show series. They will be released during November and December 2010.Style is an integral, yet intangible, element of snowboarding. Simply put, style makes snowboarding what it is. It differentiates it from other sports, such as team sports, where style is not an often spoken word. It is the expression of ones individuality based on how you hold your grab, control your body and so on. The words of Jason Horton seem to fit perfectly: "Style is the art of making something that's difficult and unnatural look easy." It is an endlessly debated topic and it is also a vital part of the judging criterion on all of the Swatch TTR Tour events.In this video segment you will hear thoughts on style from snowboarding legends (as well as rookies) like Nicolas Mueller (SUI), Heikki Sorsa (FIN), Todd Richards (USA), Marco Grilc (SLO), Mikkel Bang (NOR) and Stale Sandbech (NOR).
