TTR Oakley Arctic Challenge 2007 (Terje Snowboarding worldrecord)

http://www.ttrworldtour.com: World record holder Terje Haakonsen's TTR 5STAR Oakley Arctic Challenge 2007 took place in Oslo in the beginning of March. 850 TTR points were up for grabs and Kevin Pearce (USA) brought them home with a flawless performance in the final including huge McTwist and sick BS Airs. Speaking of which: Norway's very own snowboard superstar TERJE HAAKONSEN wrote history on the sunny qualification day and broke the world record with a 9,8m BS Air (late 180). Another spectacular rider was Jake Blauvelt (USA) with his 9,4m BS Air that would have broken Heikki Sorsa's old highest Air record as well. What a contest. TTR O'Neill Pro Freestyle, Avoriaz Snowboarding

The TTR FIVE(5)STAR O'Neill Pro Freestyle is located in Avoriaz, France and consisted of a super sick slopestyle course and a pipe event in the past. Due to the lack of snowfall, a slopestyle setup was impossible to build so the organizers decided to build a huge quarterpipe, shaped by the two Norwegian snow craft masterminds Claes and Claes. The field of riders consisted to the top European snowboard freestyle riders including transition master and winner of last year's Arctic Challenge Henning Marthinsen from Hakedal, Norway and upcoming French talent Arthur Longo. Him and O'Neill team rider JJ Roux (FRA) battled it out for the highest Air while Marthinsen went for another one of his famous slow motion BS 9s over 5 meters above the coping.
